BUSINESS BRIEFS
-One daytona is expected to complete the first phase by the end of this year. A hotel, shopping, restaurants and entertainment are included in the first phase. More is included in phase 2 which is to be complete next year.
-Hanky Panky lounge has new owners who are making many changes.
-Bellair Lanes has closed. Possibly someone will reopen?
LOCAL NOTES
-Florida Hospital Oceanside sustained significant damage from hurricane Irma and remains closed.
-Flagler Pier is closed following Irma.
-Daytona International Speedway will host a holiday lights experience throughout the holidays beginning November 17.
-The Hard Rock Hotel expects to open by the end of the year at 918 N Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach.

This table shows the condos sold in Ormond By The Sea Florida for the first 3 months of the year through the Daytona Beach Area Realtors@ Multiple Listing Service (MLS). The volume of sales has been steady for a few years and values are increasing . Both of those are good indicators for the market. The increase in days on the market may be a product of the lower inventories and market activity since condos that have been on the market longer are now selling.
